Learn Coding with Scratch 3.0

Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. Scratch is a visual programming language and is a great starter language to learn to code with. This visual language it is in the shape of blocks, and it allows its users to create online projects, games, apps, and many other things. With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the online community. Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.

The program is broken up into 7 levels ranging from beginner to advanced coding. Each level is a 4 week (1 hr/week) program where the student works on an animation and game which they can share with their parents and friends.
